This little bedroom was to house ample of legos, doll houses, rideons, and hotwheels.. the challenge was to make space bright airy and playful for kids and at the same tile functional enough to hide the mess and house house altar . We came up w arches just to add that playful and architectural element to break the boxed spaces of Mumbai apartments. We managed to house a changeable height of study space, a mandir and a book shel, shelves for legos and anything kids build which they can admire as much a reading nook with storage for games and toys, a custom hotwheels display, writeable wall, chalk wall.
The phase 2 was a walk-in space to house heavy and huge toys like hotwheels track, doll houses, and rideons.
The bathroom was converted into powder bath with a laundry space . Check the video with helps understand the functionality of the laundry area.
