This small space office takes in loot of functions. We managed to add and toilet, pantry, 4 staff an 8 seater meeting room, and cabin for 3.
The office floor plate was mostly rec at her with an oddly protruding square which worked in our advantage to manage the toilet, pantry and conference. We removed all the existing walls and created thin marble partition to optimise the space to use.
The clients brief was to make space look bright and cheerful as the natural light was less and to meet their requirements for stag and cabins.
We studied what the clients product and took that as an inspiration hence the golden yellow which is the color of the sap from maple tress imported and used as raw material in various adhesives.
The facade was inspired by the mountains where the plantation are and the golden tone was achieved by choosing a dyed veneer that matched the sap.
Inside the office the workstation storage was given a fresh approach by adding open niches where opening filing could happen. The running counter was suggested so there is more space rather than defining each workstation with a partition .
The conference room housed storage for samples some enclosed some open and the table was a central pedestal with and architect shape that just played the right role of wider top and narrow base.
All 3 cabin tables were of same design care was taken to provide ample storage plus the table should stand with its own identities hence the storage was in finish matching to the wall paint tones and the table was in veneer with again very simple lines forming strong shape.
The best room have something to say about the people who live in them
